I had purchased a tsunami shield and more recently a diawa bg and both reels came with spare small plastic washers it's probably a dumb question but what are they for

If there the very little ones than there for adjusting the line lay on the spool.By adding or removing them you can get the line to lay higher or lower on the spool.
