if DOT placed waring / compliance signs much more often, that may work too…. C22…

the reporter said it was built over 100 years ago, for a country feel drive… Wen did Moses come on the scene… cellie…

do 55mph in the left lane, you’ll get the lights, the tailgaters, and da finger.., even though the SSP is 20 miles long, ya ain’t gonna get the other end any quicker… cellie…

1924 to 1964, Robert Moses was the chairman of the Long Island Parks Commission and NY State Council on Parks. Among his opponents, the notion that he would bulldoze thru neighborhoods in order to complete his projects was not popular.

Oh good. Another revenue grab in the name of "I'm from the government and I'm here to help." Just going to punish hard working commuter's wallets and do absolutely zip about the fart can wannabe racers and the self-important BMW "I'm too important to merge anywhere but at the end of the ramp" inverted porcupine crowd.

They can't drive people out of this state fast enough, can they?

All in the name of safety.......hmmm.

These speed cameras and bus lanes and bike lanes have slowed daytime traffic to a crawl.
Add in maintenance which should logically be done overnight but is somehow done during rush hour.....driving has become a nightmare!

in manhattan last week, painting the CROSSTOWN BUS LANES during daytime weekday hours shows the stupidity of DOT… cellie…

The only time I'll drive into Manhattan is on a Sunday. No meters. No contractors.

The powers that be obviously envision a city without any vehicles in it and are doing their best to make driving in difficult.

I'll use mass transit most of the time but unfortunately, taking mass transit is not an option when bringing an elderly parent in for doctor appointment.

the funny part , congestion pricing is a FARCE… cellie…

Wouldn't mind seeing a few cameras on the Jackie Robinson Pkwy. It's an adventure at night. Racing, tailgating........
The BMW driving racers and tailgaters are smart enough to cover their license plates. The tickets will go to commuters doing 60 in a 50. It is not about public safety, it is about the money.

Just like $125 for making a legal right on red without coming to a complete stop.

Glad you mentioned that. Seems like every other car in crooklyn has a temporary plate, out of town plate or obstructed plate. Sometimes all of the above!

Never a Cop in sight!

Extremely narrow lanes especially when going under the overpasses. An adventure. o_O The old Interboro.
I remember that highway. Been a couple of decades since I last drove it. Felt like a bowling ball in the gutter. Had a car from the opposite lanes come over the concert barrier airborne once & land on the car behind me.
