Every infraction that cannot be put into context like my example. You sound like someone who takes mass transit everyday. Hence you have no sense of the reality of driving in Wilhelm’s utopia.

Meaning of a Yellow Light
Some states require drivers to stop at yellow lights unless it's unsafe to do so. In New York, however, a steady yellow light is just a warning that the light is about to turn red. In other words, so long as you enter the intersection before the signal turns red, you haven't violated the law.
 
I may have gotten a red light camera ticket last week. About a car length before the stop line a car was double parked in the left lane, so I had to wait for a bus to go by on my right so I could slip behind him. As I went through the intersection I could see the light above was red, but I didn't know that because I couldn't see around the bus that went through in front of me.

At least it was my Dad's car. :)

You sound like every fascist from history. "If you've done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear." Use of law enforcement for revenue is an abuse of police power and it corrupts the motives of law enforcement.

You may not be a lefty, but I'm fairly certain every time you jump into these things you're jumping from the left side. I don't vote party either, so yes I can say that. But nice attempt to move the center. Sorry if I misinterpreted you, but if we saw some of the moderate viewpoints that you, and more particularly a certain other guy here claim to have but pretty nearly never display it would probably lead to better discussions here.

The cameras at schools are an even bigger scam. Was there some epidemic of school children being mowed down? No. But boy we'd better start taking money from people to protect those kids. Has there been spike in smushed kids since they turned them off? No. All B.S.

Let's just wait to you get nailed (taxed) for the exact same thing. And, eventually you will because nobody drives like that. I bet your tune changes. When I went over to take a photo of the sign that lights up, I was there for maybe two minutes. I saw the camera flash at 6 cars. Did the same thing I did. That's $450 per minute. I wish I owned one of those cameras.

Most red light camera violations are for exactly what I did and not for someone running a red light.
