Daffodils,Hyacinths, Forsythia. Pear Trees flowering.

Tulips up about 8 inches & Day Lilies coming up. Rose bushes have come to life.

Backyard weeds & grass combination are beginning to look like they will need a mowing very shortly.
Pollen starting to dust the vehicles in my driveway from the pine trees near them.

while my daffs are about 4 inches out of the ground, that is about it, excepting mums that have started to shoot up some greenery. Was tracking a couple of deer in an inch of snow out east yesterday. (No luck ) Kept the ticks down but it was windy. Crepe myrtle look dead to the world and will for some months. Zoysia still tan as hay and I like that it only has to be mowed from Memorial Day to mid October or so. Watered it once ALL 2021 and only twice in 2020. No herbicides, fungicides, grubicides and haven't polluted the aquifer with those or any fertilizer in 15 years or more.

actually one group of daffs in the backyard are 8 inches high with big buds. I was hunting yesterday and with the cold and wind came home to a warm house and never expected to see them so while I was barbecuing some burgers tonight. Many daylilies are also showing some green. and soon the ticks return and I will no longer hunt.

Tick’s are active now

I usually hardly see any deer at all here after December. Found another skull today. EHD I guess. Walked a few miles. Now i am on my ass hoping one comes along. Think i will have daffs in bloom by Sunday
