I remember those races. 76 was the first summer that I fished this area. I am not sure what the last year for them was. When I started college I didn't get out on the bay that often. There is still a building in Freeport on Woodcleft Canal with "Race Headquarters" written on the roof. I remember getting chased out of Jones as well.
