Michigan couple claims they captured a 'ghost' on nanny cam after baby appears to have deep scratches on her face

A young couple in Michigan claims that their home is possibly haunted by a malicious ghost after their daughter appeared to have three deep “purple scratches” on her face. They also believe they have captured the poltergeist on their nanny cam.
Now, they’re ready to move out.

Heather Brough, 25, and her fiancé, Josh Higgins, 30, set up the camera after they discovered the purple scratches on their one-year-old, Lily. They believe what they captured on the camera can only be described as a ghost.

Upon reviewing the footage, the couple believes they saw a male figure walk quickly past Lily’s crib, as she pops up and watches him move through the room, before the alleged spirit vanishes in midair.

According to the Daily Mail, a paranormal investigator, called in to look into their claims, confirmed their home was haunted.
The couple currently resides in Higgins’ mother’s guest house in Highland, Michigan. According to the mother, Kris, before the couple moved in, an elderly lady lived there. Tragically, she lay with a broken hip for “a very long time” before she was found dead at the bottom of the stairs. Then, her “schizophrenic brother” lived in the home until his death a few years later.

“This is a spirit — I don’t know what its intentions are, but at this point it’s becoming physically harmful. This has made us want to leave as soon as possible. As soon as possible we’re out of here,” Brough told the outlet.

Brough reports that leading up to this event the family has heard sounds of screaming, stomping, and laughing. Brough, herself, has been awoken by what sounds like a man shouting. Until they find their new home, the couple has decided to never leave their daughter alone in a room.

Newlywed downed 4 beers before flight, went on homophobic rant and attacked flight attendants on way to his honeymoon
A man on an easyJet flight was supposed to be on his way to Egypt, where he was set to celebrate his honeymoon with his bride. Instead, he has been handed seven months in jail after he drunkenly assaulted two flight attendants and went on a homophobic rant.

Michael Cunnett of Epsom, England allegedly drank four pints of beer before boarding his 9 a.m. flight in February, according to International Business Times. Shortly before takeoff, Cunnett took out an e-cigarette, and flight attendant Andre Botha approached him to ask him to put the e-cigarette away.
Instead of complying, Cunnett started to call Botha homophobic slurs and punched him twice, the Mirror reports.

Bees discovered living in a woman's eye: 'They were still intact and all alive'

A woman was shocked to discover that a group of bees were living inside her eye — and feeding off of her tears.
The 28-year-old, known only as Ms. He, thought dirt had been blown into her eye while she was pulling out weeds around the graves of her relatives.

However, several hours later the 28-year-old visited a hospital in southern Taiwan when her eyes started to swell and cause her pain.

Dr. Hong Chi Ting, who works at the Fooyin University Hospital, said he was “shocked” when he saw four bees living in He’s eye upon further examination.

“She couldn’t completely close her eyes,” he told the BBC. “I looked into the gap with a microscope and saw something black that looked like an insect leg.
🤨

“I grabbed the leg and very slowly took one out, then I saw another one, and another and another. They were still intact and all alive.”
:oops::eek:

The insects are known as sweat bees because they land on people so they can drink beads of perspiration.

The doctor believes that the fact the woman was wearing contact lenses saved her from potentially going blind. “She was wearing contact lenses so she didn’t dare to rub her eyes in case she broke the lens,” he explained. “If she did she could have induced the bees to produce venom … she could have gone blind.”

The bees are still alive and have been sent to another organization so they can be studied.

There goes the neighborhood...

Those of you living around Jamesport will appreciate this reader's comment: It’s not the Hamptons until you get 24/7 helicopter service for the wealthy. Nothing says relaxation like the daily wall shaking noise of twin engine helicopters. A few more years of growth and car traffic and Hudson Valley will get there...

Is the Hudson Valley Turning Into the Hamptons?
