“RHONY” star and former Kennedy in-law Carole Radziwill says RFK Jr. always had a 'weird thing about roadkill'
"His minivan always smelled of death."www.yahoo.com
But the RFK Jr. controversy train doesn't just stop at stations of science and policy. Last August, he admitted to dumping the body of a dead bear cub in Central Park. Kennedy said he initially picked it up intending to skin it, but ran out of time due to a prior falconry engagement. So he used an old bike in his car to stage the animal corpse as though it had collided with a cyclist and died.
That same month, internet sleuths uncovered a 2012 interview with Kennedy's daughter Kick, who claimed he once beheaded a whale that had washed ashore at the Hyannis Port, Mass. Kennedy compound and tied it to the roof of the aforementioned minivan with bungee cords.
got nailed twice by these damn thingsLike the undead, these things are still skulking around, waiting for their zombie resurrection.

Some Suffolk red light cameras remain despite program ending
Suffolk County's red light cameras remain at some intersections, even though the program ended nine months ago.www.newsday.com
These things need to be plowed so they can't come back to picking people's pockets.
got nailed twice by these damn things
both times it was a right on red...............................I'd tell you to drive more carefully, but these things are nothing but cash traps.
BTW, my intense dislike for these things is not from personal experience. It comes from a deep mistrust of govt's motives when they have the opportunity to abuse law enforcement powers to generate revenue. As of now, I've never received a camera ticket.

Commack Road & Jericho Turnpike
Commack Road & the South Service Road to 495
I have a 6-speed. Hate to come to a full stop. So it's neutral - tap the brakes - take a look - & go to second/third gear.
Maybe I should stay out of Commack
I'll sit on the intersection and wait for the green, regardless of the blowing horns behind me.My mother got a similar ticket. A quick, stab the brakes and go, turn. We went to court and gee, surprise,... you can't win. It's a racket. It's my understanding that R on Rs are the primary revenue generator from the cameras. So much for safety.
BTW, about a month after that encounter I did the exact same hard stop - go at a right on red right in front of a Nassau police car. No flashing lights, no finger wagging. Nothing. Because I hadn't done anything wrong. But the court with fifty bucks in its hand wouldn't let my 70 YO mother do the same thing.
RACKET!
Interesting too, that since all the fees and court charges that were tacked on were declared illegal I'll bet Nassau will be rethinking their camera program.
Tick Tock.
your not driving a stick - are you?I'll sit on the intersection and wait for the green, regardless of the blowing horns behind me.
