Ex-Machina
2014

Highly recommend. Cought it at midnight last night on cable (i think HBO). Came out in 2014 and was not a hit at the box office...this is definitely one to watch. Intersection of humanity and AI and where we could be heading

"Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson) a programmer at a huge Internet company, wins a contest that enables him to spend a week at the private estate of Nathan Bateman (Oscar Isaac), his firm's brilliant CEO. When he arrives, Caleb learns that he has been chosen to be the human component in a Turing test to determine the capabilities and consciousness of Ava (Alicia Vikander), a beautiful robot. However, it soon becomes evident that Ava is far more self-aware and deceptive than either man imagined."

Bullet Train

What a blast. Real fun movie start to finish, Sorta Kill Bill meets Pulp Fiction with a whole lot of stuff thrown in. Highly recommend.

Best $2 I ever spent at Redbox...

Top Gun Maverick - came out today at Redbox

Very good - what I probably liked the most was that there was no messaging.
Just a straightforward action flick.

Top Gun - Maverick

Thrill Ride all the Way..................

Well worth the couple of bucks from RedBox

ePix (soon to be MGM+) gets it on cable Dec 22nd, I'll watch it again.

Recorded Amsterdam off HBO last night, reviews don't look that hot even with a pretty stellar cast.

I also thoroughly enjoyed this movie upon your recommendation, thank you.

Took my son to see Avatar yesterday in the Imax, he enjoyed it so to me that’s all that really counts but gee whiz with the previews it was four hours, is that really necessary? Wtf James Cameron gimme a break dude!

RETROGRADE

A sobering look at the final days of the U.S. in Afghanistan

It's a good movie done with the real players....but it's good not in a warm and fuzzy way.......It will leave you sad and questioning what we did for 20 years and why?
