The whole lot sucks. In Maine, cable/internet providers are not considered a public utility, even though they're pretty much monopolies, so the Public Utility Commission can't keep a rein on them, and they don't have to report things like outages, etc.

Additionally, Maine passed a law that was supposed to go in effect on Jan 1 that prevented "bundling" of channels, but the TV providers got an injunction against that and are fighting it out in court under a "Freedom of Speech" defense. That should be interesting.

Probably because you could wash your hands before you eat something or touch your face etc... like you are supposed to.
