After getting snagged for a second time, I tied the pole up and decided to just crack a few open and relax. Still in the ocean. I had 1 keeper BSB (going to give to a friend I'm with) and two shorts. Plenty of action all around.

Good, plenty of fish all around. Me, just don't know what it is. I only had one keeper BSB and two short fluke. I was on port side so I don't know how the starboard did with fluke, but I saw couple keeper fluke on my side come over the rails. Nice big porgies also.

I've been down here in the Outer Banks since Sunday (5 days). The house is right on the beach so you can't help but see the ocean. Visibility has been crystal clear all 5 days, meaning you can see all the way to the horizon - north, south & east. Maybe a 100 miles in each direction?

I've not seen a single boat on the water this whole time. Not a fishing boat. Not a recreationally boat. Not a commercial boat. Not a sailboat. Not a military boat. Not a jet ski. Nada.

I (we've) seen dolphin everyday. Spotted what appeared to be a mahi in air launch mode & a possible billfish in air launch mode.

But no boats.

so my brother-in-law loses his sunglasses in the surf - 1/2 hour later my brother is taking a stroll down the beach & is probably about a 1/4 of a mile down the beach & he sees a guy pulling a pair of sunglasses out of the surf - my brother asks if he just found them - yes - turned out to be my brother-in-laws sunglasses
