Fine, I've got to plant a bunch more today because of an impending soaking rain tonight, saving me worrying about watering them. I will take "action" shots just for your viewing pleasure, while sparing our colleagues your signature narcissistic move of pimping them for thanks.

I transplant trees from inappropriate/inopportune areas of my property and the "Across the Road 24/7 Dig Your Own Nursery" to better/more aesthetically pleasing locations in my yard, averaging a good 10-20 a year.

I occasionally "score" some super deals. Yesterday, at the invitation of a neighbor, I transplanted 3 high bush blueberry bushes that needed to be removed for a firepit installation. Blueberry cobbler is an excellent dessert for linguine and white clam sauce...

Therefore in my "world", hiking into the forest, digging up a tree, schlepping said tree back to the homestead in my wheelbarrow, and transplanting it is far from post-worthy and in no way something I seek kudos for, unlike some here. Hmmm, now that I think of it, my arborist activities are Zero Carbon and Zero Cash, totally organic events. How appropriate for Earth Day and Piker Points...

Here you go, I’ll update as I go…

Safety First: Tick repellent clothes, Ultraton on neck, wrists, waist & ankles

Yesterday’s 3 blueberry bushes. Off to get #4 as neighbor texted me to take another one.

QA department rejected that blueberry because of low historical yield and dubious I could lift it and its huge ball into the wheelbarrow. Found these 2 lovely white pines on the walk home.

Pine 1 in the ground.

There’ll be a delay in Pine 2 planting as I get to the root of the problem.

Pine 2 planted. Time for some small balsams for 2027/8/9 Xmas trees, and a hemlock for bellicose member draughts

That’s a coincidence, I transplanted three blueberry bushes too yesterday.
