I think its funny your explaining mosquitos to a guy that sprays them as part of his living lol I would think he knows all about them I was having fun and going along with it lol
I was making a suggestion based on past experience & offered him a non chemical approach. Which based on his reply he's going to try it.

Not in a knot like I said I thought it was funny you think hes never heard of bats eating mosquitos until you mentioned it and he deals with chemicals everyday im sure hes not worried about using them. Wait two years and hopefully the bats move in and start eating or just spray and kill them now Hmmmmmm

If you don't mind me asking though, what kind of drainage did they put in where it meets the main roof roof up top on the right side of the photo?
It looks like its higher than the main roof line in the photo or is that just deceptive and a bad angle picture?

The new roof is attached to the main roof as normal. The spot I think your talking about is a 3 foot extended roofline over a flat roof which drains front yard to backyard
