Both Chevy & VW wouldn't honor a Car Shield Policy. But extended the ones already on the vehicles.
Seems like Live Bait's friend had the same issue.
Chevy did their inspection. Everything was cool. Truck only had 22,000 miles on it & was still covered under the original 6 year extended warranty I had. So they up charged me for the extra 4 years.

Spent the last 10 minutes trying to figure out WTH our power went out. Genny kicked in so no worries, but it's a beautiful day and when I first went on the Central Maine Power website, only a few addresses in my town were still out. I reported the outage and got a 18:30 restoration time tonight.
Well that didn't tell me much, but when I went right back to the Outage page, our entire town was without power, all slated to be restored at 18:30 this evening, so I guess CMP turned off the power so it could connect some of the areas that have been out since the storm on Monday.
As usual, no worries, generator humming along...
