Spent the afternoon watching a local rockweed harvester collecting seaweed, the "Bubble Wrap" kind, Fucus (really). Because they "float" when cut away from the rocks, they collect them in long, narrow nets to make "Seaweed Sausages". which the tow to a landing and meet up with big semis that have cranes to lift up the bags and empty them into the trucks. The stuff is used in cosmetics, food, and natural fertilizer...
