Mrs. Avenger just got her car inspected, and there's a condition report for both plates right in the inspection.

NY wants their camera revenue, damnit.

Also, last I looked, DMV will replace tired plates for free. Although it wouldn't surprise me if they turned that into a cash-grab too.
