Just got a surprise call from my Eye Surgeon's office. They wanted to schedule me for surgery on the other eye this
Wednesday!!!


Surprised the hell out of me! Didn't think we'd get there for another month or two. Still had one more follow up visit set for the 28th to mark a month since the first one was done. They said it went so well for the first one & I happened to ask the surgeon when could we get the other one taken care last week they thought I might be anxious to proceed.

Hot damn I'm anxiuos! It'll be nice to have full distance vision again without having to guess at what I'm seeing.

Five minutes after I posted good night, I got a phone call from my next-door neighbor to come over right away. He built a cottage in his backyard and just finished everything. Somebody busted down the door, broke his toilet and ripped his TV off the wall and left nothing was stolen. We are pretty sure it was his next-door neighbor. The guy is a psycho. The cops are here and the detectives. I feel so bad for the young kid after all his hard work.

the guy was probably pissed because it was too high or too close to the property line. Have to find the town code on sheds and things. Still he needs his ass kicked

Yeah, me and all my neighbors all think it was the same guy. Cops can’t do a thing no evidence to prove it with him.

Just did my good deed for the day. Had a knock on my door & it was a little old lady from two doors over. How old? Well she's closer to 80+ then I am.

Met her back during the summer when she was walking her dog.
She remembered me telling her if she ever needed help with something she knew where I lived.

Seems she was putting her car in her garage & heard something hit the roof of her car after she pulled in "And now the door won't close."

Said she looked on the roof of the car & didn;t see anything. She is all of maybe 5 foot nothing. I went over & asked her to back the car out of the garage. Took a look on the car roof & there was a bolt, washer & nut laying there that looked like it came from the opener. Took a look at the the shaft that connects to the actual opener & there was a similar set up missing.

Put the parts back that fell off & then tightened the other bolt assembly as that was about to fall off as well. Told her to try closing the door. It worked fine.

She was estatic.

"I won't hug you but I can make you some cookies if you'd like."
