Just got in from a quick trip out on the water. Broke in my new setup which is a Daiwa Tatula XT Bass Spinning Rod - TATULAXT731MFS paired with a Shimano Ultegra 3000 with 8lb X9 loaded. What a fun freshwater setup for fluke fishing!

That bay got nasty fast as I headed east. Interesting, I have the sea keeper ride system on the boat and even with this type of wind and chop not one bit of water came up in the cockpit.
