Holy Crap!! Two oranges and a red for AM low tide, which translates to -2 ft!! Got to drag my sorry ass out to do some last of the season oystering, and maybe grab some clams. Every decent tide this winter has been either snowing or raining!!

Just home from vet , friends next door were over earlier today and frantic..... dog had a grand Mall stroke.
He need me for support and to help get him in and out of car, huge dog. He is our buddy.
His name is Rocco, we watch him every Thursday & Friday always enjoying his visits.

We had to leave him there and waiting for vet to call.

Very worried, dose not look good.

Just back from a needless 130 mile round trip from Costco because I was surprised to find that they can fail being the best deal in town. A few weeks ago when we were doing a periodic shop there I noticed they had my Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action Fertilizer in 12,000 bags, something I need 3 off. Was put off by the price of $97, more used to $65 a pop, but figured that's up too, and if Costco was charging $97, the new price must be over $110 because they're always a deal!!

Anyway when I got home I decided to see what Lowes was getting and went through the roof when I saw $76!! Wait, Amazon is $75 delivered and Home Depot is $74, WTF??!!!!! Order it from Amazon since that was delivered and waited until today to bring the Costco ones back and give them a piece of my mind!!

Time to fix three metal fence posts that rotted out after the installer didn't fill the hole with anchoring cement allowing water to pool and rust to develop. I saw the problem when I bought the house a few years back and decided I would fix it when it became a real problem. Today, it's a real problem and I have to dig the cement out of holes and install new posts.

So far, so good. Not an easy job getting the old anchoring cement out of the holes but with a 5/16" hammer drill bit I was able to eat it up and eventually chisel it out. Took about an hour. I cut the new posts and plan to anchor them in tomorrow. I'm happy with progress.
