I spent the weekend at my brother's place in Richmond. When driving there on Friday - as I approched the
toll gates for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge & Tunnel I see an array of what looked like unmarked Police Vehicles straddling the toll plaza. As I got closer I saw that they were ICE vehicles.

They were pulling vehicles over.

One agent approached my car gesturing to roll down my window. I refused to comply.
I yelled through the window "why are you stopping me?"

"It's a random search for undocumented aliens."
"Do I look Hispanic or Haitian?"
"No."
"Do you think I'm hiding one in my trunk?"
"So why are you doing this?"
"I need to see some identification."
"Why?"
"Because I do."
"Can I see yours then?"

Because my car insurance is high enough already & I don't want to pay for a broken window - and to be honest - I was beginning to get REAL nervious as a second agent came up to the car - I pulled out my driver's license & put it up against the window .

He attempted to photograph it at which point I pulled it away from the window.

"I need to photograph it - put it back up."
"No you don't."
"We're done here."

At which point I pulled a Renee Good & joined 2 other cars & drove around him hoping the asshole doesn't shoot.

This is out of control......

I have to laugh at your assumption that I am a “leftest” Far from it. I was a registered Rebublian and voted that way for President, and right down the ticket for almost 45 years. I switched to a registered Independent after Trump won the first time. I was in NY involved in construction back when he was making a name for himself. He F’d more people out of money than I can count. Among other things he is a proven thief, liar, and racist. He only cares about himself, for the here and now.

Total County Property Taxes - $1418.53 from $1601.47

Property & House Assesment Value remained as was in 2025.
The Tax Rate (per $100) was lowered.

Im a guy that works 50-60 hours a week to pay my bills, support my family, pay my taxes and put my kid through college
I bust my balls gathering splitting stacking and burning 5-7 cords of wood a year to save money on heating bills….
I crawl underneath my boat on my back every spring to prep and paint the bottom then hand wax the hull and do all the mechanicals , tie all my own rigs, service my equipment etc with my own bare hands so I can fish the bay and ocean to catch as much fish as I can to fill my freezer and eat well

I could go on and on and on so if you think calling me a lefty in light of all that is some sort of an insult and makes you feel better about yourself, you can can kiss my left ass cheek
