Finally the weather is getting a bit warmer. Had a good day yesterday working on my twin F250's. While servicing my water pumps, I noticed my tilts cylinder's top seal was blown out of the ram. It's a fairly easy job but you need a few special tools. I already had the wrench for the top cap which was needed to fix my two trim cylinders. They are really easy to fix as long as you can get the cap off. The tool really helps. That same tool fits the top cap of the tilt ram. Once the piston is removed, another tool is required to remove the lower piston from the shaft (the piece with the four holes). I didn't have that tool but found one online for $62. Once the lower piston is removed everything slides off the bottom shaft and the old top cap is removed. I'm going to replace the o-rings and washers in the cap instead of buying a new one. If your trim cylinders start leaking, this is a fairly easy job to DIY.

just heard from my son-in-law who just got a text from one of his family in Tel Aviv. Their home was destroyed today by a missle strike. Luckly no one was injured.

They were in a shelter in their basement. No loss of life or injuries - but they lost everything they had. The strike set off a gas explosion.

he's got 20 something family member living in Israel in a couple of cities - majority in Tel Aviv - his father was born there but is now a US Citizen living in Florida.......

They're not all in Tel Aviv but most of them are. They sleep underground in shelters because you never know when something could be incoming.

What a horribe way to live..................
