Ballyhoo joe Shute outside riggers far back. One down middle. Spreader bars. Side trackers. DTX 220 tight.

That’s the start. We will listen if that works.
Nice. I use to run 5 in total since the boat had only an 8'6" beem and I was only running with two -3 freinds. 1 on each rigger long, 1 off each transom side medium, one off the leaning post way way back.

One trick I learned from some real pros" which might be helpful: the poles you are running off the transom, let the lines out to distance, then take the line from the pole tip, bring it down to the reel handle, wrrap with a #2 rubber band. This way the line and rig tracks better a little more below the surface (not off the rod tip) and u will hear the pop of the rubber band just before the clicker screams.

I learned this from Capt. Marc DeCabia and Capt. Mark DeBlasio on the Canyon Runner.

Thats what you want to use for your flatlines right off the transom. You’ll have to figure out placement with those 2 bad boys hanging off the back.

On my 26’ Grover which had about 9 1/2 beam
I could run 10 lines…….. with 3 Lee flush mount holsters on both port & starboard, I could run the the 2 most forward out of the riggers, the most aft straight back, plus an additional staggered 3 across the transom in the wash and 1 straight down the middle deep out of the rocket launcher.

I have three on the transom, but they are close together and in front of the outboards. Maybe deep divers not on clips. I have four on each side. One in the front that will not be used for trolling. That being used for giants or any fish that might need following. Once out there we will see what it looks like.

Cedar trolling plugs, and Nomad’s similar to the photo below work well in the wash. I had substantial tumble-home so my transom was maybe 6’ wide on a good day. I’d run the center lure a little deeper than the port & starboard and had no issues to speak of. The spread in the wash had an unusually high hookup rate for eyeballs on the very early morning back on the troll after a night of chunking.
