With hearing aids, not a big movie goer anymore. But I watch virtually everything once they come to cable. No background noise and cc ! I don't think we went to a theater in 2018... 40 years ago we went every weekend.

Most movie theaters near me have CC which I need. You have to request it. Ya wear these glasses attached to a small box.

you have a wireless internet connection?
if so - go buy an $89 wireless DVD player - you'll be able to access Netflix from there as well as other streaming services

Buy a $40 Fire Stick 4K and you'll get all the streaming services.

Want to watch more for free? Google how to load the Cinema app (free) on it for a "Roc Box"... No need to pay for Netflix, but you may want to purchase a VPN to stay under the radar. You can get everything that's on Neflix, Disney+, HBO, etc. and just about every movie. Basically a home-made Jet Box that other's talk about here.
