Even if i move somewhere and go back to my roots and start doing electrical work again I’m fine with that. I’m almost positive it’s not as painful as it is here in the city.

Screw the hurricanes, apply to the electric utilities in the desired location, power generation, substation overhead lines always have openings... the transportation (railroad) surface lines (bus) Verizon (communication companies) civil service district municipalities....
Listen bud, you are in the drivers seat now, talent is in demand...
start by applying on line (yes they do) and communicating directly with Human Resources. Look up newspapers and other employment oops.. it should be fun trying, believe me... cellfish aka Michael...good luck...
