Prepping for tonight's dinner with my scouting crew. Then off to camp by 2 pm.

Just fixed the 4x8 shelf in the Geerage, now to restock all the Christmas stuff on it ?

just got into my brother's house in Nissequogue.............

seems like a long drive but made it in 6 1/2 hours - stopped several times (old guy bladder) - no traffic (for once) - so y'all can stop worryin'

was almost locked out (they're at my other brothers in Richmond - go figure).....

Sister-in-Law accidently locked the inside garage door to the house. I knew where they kept a spare key. Couldn't find it. Looked all around. Went back into the garage for a screw driver & started chopping up all the frozen ground - heard a "chink" - found it.

Was all set to head to the Commack Motor Inn to see if they took reservations for more than an hour at a time.

yeah - drove in - didn't see anything like that - refresh my memory is the Van Wyck before or after you get on from Northern State? It's been over 5 years since I last drove into Manhattan.

Picked up the boyfriend & my daughter in West Babylon - road Southern State to the Wantagh north to Northern State to the LIE & into NYC.
Damn - there are too many people in NY.
There was traffic everywhere - hard to tell if something in particular was holding it all up.

Took me 5 minutes to go one block once I was in NYC.

Van Wyck is after the northern state.
Hopefully everything was cleared up by the time you drove by. Because at 5:30am it was bumper to bumper not moving stand still
