the "What are you doing NOW" thread (part deux)

Glad to hear he's OK but how often does he go the groomer?
Seems like way more often than I get a haircut

every other month - when I took him last week the nosebleed happened & they only washed him - no grooming - brought him back to day for that..

on infinite hold with United Healthcare for my mom - just trying to set up auto pay - I've been bounced around to at least 4 people so far - seems it's always someone's department

Ridiculous. Finally get someone who tells me he has to send me a form first & to call him back when I get it before they can set up auto pay. I think I now know why people shoot Customer Service Reps...............

in addition - he can't send it to me because they don't have my address as the official mailing address even though I am my mom's Power of Attorney - they have to mail it to my mother who lives 170 miles away & he will have to mail it to me

I explain this to him - he says "Sorry. That's policy. But you can go on line & do it at att.com/benefits."
So I go to do it this way & the site tells me they have to send me a password to set it up & there is no email address associated with the account. Of course there's not. It's my 88 year old mother's account. She doesn't even have a computer nor know what an email address is!! So it has to go via USPS. Guess where?

My mom's mailing address 170 miles away!!

I'm beginning to dislike society in general these days...................

Watching two deer across the road. My hound mutt is out there barking at them from the front porch. They looked up at him, then put their heads down and kept munching. Let him in and tried explaining that they no longer cared, he can bark as much as wants and it won't make a difference. Gave him a biscuit. He is laying down on the couch. He looks a little depressed.

It’s funny how that happens. No one wants to do anything anymore. Same thing happened to me last week. I asked for a supervisor and it was taken care of.
