Nice rake @JoeBfishing, looks like the one I got from some MA company. I didn't bother with the gauge, just entrusting the 1" gap on the rake...

I must have falsely assumed there were clams there, although you must have had some inclination that was to be the case too. Sorry to cause you any pain. I am a doctor, although not "that kind", and my familiarity with human physiology allows me to suggest my post-clamming therapeutic regime, a fistful of ibuprofen washed down with a few Margarita chasers. You can augment this therapy with a nice cigar if you wish...

My neighbors can't figure out why I don't share the clams I dig, just fish. Like you, my sorry old azz and shoulders are shot after digging so what I don't use for the next week either get shucked and frozen, or they get "replanted" to my personal flats by the dock or just sit in the lobster car hanging from the dock for easy and quick access...
