it's a good thing I did it - her Florida will is not valid in VA. I urge all of you who have aging parents to get their parents will updated if it was drawn up in a state different from the one they're presently living in. Saves a lot of headaches when the time comes.

Call the Local Fire Chief "Sorry that's not me although I'd like to witness it. Give me a call to let me know when this is going to happen? Give Public Safety a call. They handle that."
Call Public Safety "Sorry that was turned over to the State. You've gotta all them."
Call the State "We only handle State properties. Try Public Safety."
"They sent me to you!?!?!"
"Don't know why they did that."
"So who does it?"
"Don't know. Try the County Buildings Department."
"I was just there to find the Public Safety Department & mentioned I was trying to set up a Sprinkler Test & they made no mention that they did it,"

So now I'm waiting for a call back from Buildings.

Meanwhile - the Sprinkler people are now draining the lines they just filled because it's going to be below freezing tonight.
