Packing up and heading east with Jenn. Staying at hotel in Riverhead, grabbing dinner at Cliffs (haven't been there in years) then probably walk around town. Today's charter got rained out, tomorrow looks little more promising.

If i wasn't already deep into other stuff I'd meet you at a brewery for a drink but then you'd end up oversleeping and missing the boat tomorrow if you sail... LOL

Hate coming to the dealer, 2yr old car, inspection & free oil change, we don’t smoke & don’t have pets, now they want to change the cabin filter for $185. I don’t think so!

I just did that 2 weeks ago at the local shop that recently changed hands to new ownership.
They told me i won't pass and need new tires
I told them yeah i know i need tires and i went to the local tire place in speonk the day before and they told me I need tires soon but the ones I have will pass...
They said OK, you pass....

I bought a relacement cabin air filter and did it myself, had to take glove box off the hinges - that's pretty much it.

Biggest ripoff out there, problem I had was the ‘glove‘ box contents fell out. Turned a 5 minute job into a 6 minute job. In retrospect I don’t know why I even bothered.

I’m going to bed, after just coming up from the basement. My wife was in the office and screamed there’s a puddle under the desk. Pulled off the Sheetrock and found the water is coming up from underground ?
