Strolling around the yard waiting for more ideas to pop into my head as to what I can move around next.

Sound like me Mike. This time of year I walk the yard and peruse the "Across The Street Nursery" to see which white pines and white birches I can help migrate over into my yard...

This is only a temporary condition. The instant the boat is in, my only yard walking is between the house and the dock to go fishing!! (y)

Until that time, I need to get "The Spring Yard Commissioning List" completed and one part of that last that can be accomplished when it's raining and blowing like the Hammers of Hell, is transplantation. In case you didn't realize it, it is NOT a beautiful day in the neighborhood...

At work trying to wrap it up. Still don’t know if daughter has a game today or not......ground and field may not be in playing conditions.

Look at the bright side Frank. Unlike most "Sport Parents", we have proper foul weather gear. Therefore, get those Grundens/Hellys/etc on and enjoy the game. As my son once said of my wardrobe, complete w/Sou'wester hat donned for a soccer match in a monsoon, "Dad!! You look like a DORK!!" "Maybe so, but I'm a dry dork!" He was absolutely chagrined as soaked parent after soaked parent, armed only with umbrellas, came up to me asking if I wanted to sell my gear to them.

There like 3” of water puddles up on the field everywhere. Coaches called off the game. My daughter and wife call me Mcguyver because i seem to have something for every situation ??‍♂️??‍♂️ I just like to be prepared. I don’t know. Lmao

Been there, seen that and done that. BUT when it happened to my son and his soccer team around 20 years ago, the entire team decided to do a "Klinsmann" belly slide into the biggest puddle on the pitch so I had to towel him and a neighbor off before I could get them into the car...
