the "What are you doing NOW" thread (part deux)

Which bank does everyone use for their business acxounts?

I think Im gonna go and close up my Chase commercial accounts.

I opened up an commercial savings account and tied it to my commercial checking account so that if I was low on balance in the checking account, Chase would automatically move the funds drom my savings to cover the balance, saving me overdraft fees. At least thata what they said when I opened them.

Last month was tough due to the worst Thanksgiving day sales and worst Christmas sales ever. I knew the Credit Card amount wasn't that much but hey I was covered by the savings account.

My wife checks the account last week and notices a $574 service charge and freaks out.

They been charging me $34 for low balance in the checking, and lists it @ the end of the month as one tume fee. WTF? $34 everytime they move money from my savings account to the checking account, and then the fee @ the end of the month instead of when the transaction happened?

And why wasn't my accounts tied together? They don't know why.

They are apologizing and working to refund mebthe fee but damage done. Tired of Chase nickle and diming me, time to move on.
I have chase,no problems, they send a text if my checking gets low and I just transfer some funds on line ..

The problem is that they told me when I opened and linked the savings and checking together, that, that would happen automatically with no charge. Or I would have opened the savings account where it would have made more interest.

Anyway, they put the funds back in to my account and I'm going to open a TD or a Capotol One account today, as per The Boss's order.

Taking apart the disc brake calipers on the boat trailer, deciding rebuild or replace......., John
Git er done.
I did mine in the fall. Replaced all my swollen pads on all four wheels, and had to redo one spindle and a hub.
Take it apart then make a decision after inspecting them.
Better to spend the time now than on the side of the road. ?

Air Rights

I'm so glad my store building owner didn't sell the Air Rights when the developers next door asked him to like this place did.
