Going to the audiologist to see what kind of help I’m going to need to hear the VHF in the boat..........John

getting ready for a doctor's appointment - seems to be the year of vaccines - going for the following:

• Tetanus
• Zoster (Shingles) Vaccine
• Pneumonia Vaccine

Don't know if I'm getting all three today however.

2 out of 3 - have to wait a week for the Shingles Vaccine.


Found out my insurance (Medicare/United Healthcare) doesn't cover the Shingles shot. Gonna have to pay out of pocket ($200) for it - I 'd normally say skip it I'll take my chances but my Sister-in-Law came down with it 2 months ago & it lasted for 8 weeks - said it was difficult to put on clothes - everything that came into contact with her skin hurt - sooooooo.....

It’s bad chit,the key is to recognize it and get to a doc ASAP if caught early the meds knock it right out..
