the "What are you doing NOW" thread (part deux)

just got back from tossing lures into Onancock Creek...

Managed to land what would have been a keeper Striper if not for it being out of season on a Deadly Dick.
Back in she/he went.
gonna try & give Capt13's dock in his backyard a shot sometime this week with live bait if I get a chance - meanwhile - time to start putting dinner together

heading up to the supermarket to pick up a couple of things I need for tonight's dinner (fresh green onions & cilantro) - picked up a bag of 50 little necks from the Onancock Market yesterday ($15 - can't beat that - 30 cents a clam) - then into the gardens when I return

that's all?

I ran through a radar trap on Indianhead Road in Kings Park a few years ago. I was 20 mph over the speed limit which was of course 30 MPH. Normal fine for that speed was $300 - because I was also in a school zone - it was doubled to $600 & the points that went on my license were also doubled from 3 to 6

Yup and they said no points

Nice,where do fish,at the wharf?

this was off the docks at the East Pont Marina. Right near the mouth of the Creek & the Chesapeake. I used to keep my boat over there. I know the marina owner (nice guy named Barney - he owns Bullfeathers DISH & Internet service as well). The road that runs through Est Point is named after his family (Russell Road). They go back a long way on the Shore.

Not to far from where Battle of the Barges (the last Naval Action of the Revolutionary War) took place in 1782.

I have tried the Wharf once or twice. Deep water there. Managed a small bass out of there about 3 years ago. Again a Virginia keeper (around 24' as I recall) but let it loose as it didn't meet my minimum (30') much to the chagrin of two of the locals who observed the catch.
