My daughter just put a deposit on a 2023 Volkswagen Atlas. Now’s she’s crunching numbers of all her bills to make sure she can still afford to live if she buys it. ? I like it, and it’s only got 6000 miles( Service loaner car)
Between 10-15 k less than a 0 mile one??

What is the purpose on a new vehicle for her? (lease up, old car not good?) Just asking hate to see young kids get in more debt, never know which way the economy is going to go next year or two.

Her old car is old 2010 Chevy Malibu. She was dead set on getting a brand new car lease or buy. I convinced her not to throw money away on a lease or buy brand new.
She has a great job and makes a lot of money so it’s her choice. ??

Good advice from Dad.
As you know, I opted to just fix up the 2012 Jeep here instead of buying or leasing. Got some new parts from the salvage yard (radio and back glass on the Hard Top). Paid the loan off 5K was left and now I own it...prob will go another 150K+ miles 15 years as long as I take care of her.

love those - although I'm kinda partial to VW's - I've had 3 of them - never gave me any trouble - have her look into their extended warrenty - does she need an SUV?
