Maybe the Yule Clog is more appropriate.

That one is easy, the Yule log, because the Hanukkah Bush is a Jewish American thing so the kids don't feel left out. Of course the Menorah beats the log.

We used to have a yearly tree trimming party. Our Jewish friends just had a ball because it was so novel to them. The usual final result was one or more of them decorating themselves!! Great parties!!
