Fishing in the early days we had to make a lot of gear ourselves. This is a simple, do it yourself winter project so if u need a few de hookers here it goes. U will need the biggest aluminum gutter nails u can find and any old wooden dowel /old broom handle. Simply cut dowel into 4inch lengths drill a hole in the center so its a tight fit and glue nail in place. Now in a vise put a 180 degree 3/4 inch bend on tip. Easy to do de-hookers and if u loose 1 here and there overboard no biggie. Always have a few handy when bottom fishing so u don't have to touch certain critters.
