This will be a first. Any advice?

Well it seems that things are starting to pick up - a month late - bait is setting up, both sandeels and squid - this is the sound I'm discussing here. There have been many sea bass caught as bycatch to fluke anglers in the sound and many are keeper size.

Is there a rig or tactic that improves a shot at either?

Up in the Sound, chicken rig with 1/4 ounce white Spro teasers tipped with spearing and a chrome fluke bullet as the weight deadly on both species when aforementioned bait is in the area.
