Time too ride

To all riders today,
Thank you to all who came out to our annual Blessing ride to the Shrine. Unfortunately, I/we, Riders of Fire MC, apologize to all the riders who were left behind. After speaking to many of you, there was a major disconnect that we were unaware of at the time! Please accept our sincere apology as we understand how frustrating that must have been for you. What we determined to happen was that at some point, there was a gap between riders. The sheriff thought it was the end of the line and left his post to move up to his next post. Unfortunately, it was not the end of the line! Therefore, now all the remaining riders were left without any road blockers! We had members at the rear of the line but by that time it was too late to lead those who were already finding their own way to the Shrine. Thankfully, although not the way we anticipated it to happen and we do not know who those lead riders are, and a special thanks to them, they were able to lead the rest of the riders following them safely to the Shrine. Please realize the riders in front of you were moving along not realizing what was going on behind them. We are grateful no riders were hurt and will learn from this experience so hopefully not to have it happen again. Thank you again for your understanding and continued support and again we are very sorry you had to experience this today.

Some of the posts on FB are funny they are blaming it on the riders for not keeping the pack tight as soon as we turned out of the parking lot a SUV broke thru aht blocked intersection and was driving right next to us

Glad you had a good day
The weather sure was awesome
I ended up at a brewery in Riverhead late yesterday afternoon and a bunch of guys came riding in wearing their colors and Im guessing they were coming back from the shrine

What a great way to start the season
