Yes SirYa’ll going??
I hope you get a good answer. As I have pulsing in my pickup. I checked the rotors and pads and all was good.Okay so when I got the SG the mech noted “front” brakes pulsed. Now I’m scratching my head. Never had this in years passed and might wait till the fall to fuck with it. I was thinking warped rotor (there are two) but after doing brakes on my pickup yesterday I had a lightbulb moment, I think. The rotors and brakes were changed in the pick-up couple years ago. A year later it was pulsing and I was confident it was a warped shitty rotor which is typical with Chinese shit. I bought Brembo rotors and pads to replace and then found out one of the four brake pistons on pass side froze causing it. So either it was warped and caliper froze or it was just the caliper froze, either way now I’ve convinced my self there another option to the pulsing on the SG. Now the question on the SG because these rotors, brakes, and calipers are double the $$$ what the pick-ups cost. How to diagnose a frozen caliper if it’s elevated? Or what else can cause pulsing before I spend a grand or more to change everything?
Easy just see if the calipers push back or spin the wheel while its off the ground see if it spins free. Do you feel the brakes pulsing?Okay so when I got the SG the mech noted “front” brakes pulsed. Sleeping Lake side in a cabinSleeping on picnic tables?
she's a beauty!
How are the pads not sure if I asked you earlierI jacked it up. Waste of time spinning wheel trying to see anything. Gonna try to compress when I get a chance and then spin. If it’s warped it’s minute until hot. If all compress then I guess two new rotors. Not trying one side at a time.
