Town of Hempstead Wins Audubon’s First-Ever Share the Shore Award

Not that I want any bird to become extinct but how about evolution of the species. I would like to actually see this study and not just the results. Need to watch programs like this to insure more access isn't taken away.

You do realize the natural progression of "evolution" is a function of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of generations. Yeah it goes quickly in viruses since they reproduce like crazy, but with multicellular organisms like humans and birds, it takes thousands of years...

When mutations are artificially generated, e.g. radiation, it does occur more quickly, but this study is a "natural progression" one.
