I guess I'm lucky and I don't suffer from that too much. Once in a blue moon I get heartburn and the generic antacid tablets do the trick.

A fellow New Yorker was in my office one day and I bitched about somebody who was giving me "agita". Next day he walks in with the Blue Bottle and I lost it, laughing hysterically as he says, "This should help Boss!" At that point since I was living in the Midwest, I hadn't seen a bottle in years.

there is some research to suggest that all of the OTC remedies for acid reflux can cause liver damage - that was in my post on the hyper link titled something to think about.

All the "blockers" if used in excess. I don't recall what they mean by "in excess".....................

If you need to use them several times a week - it's probably time to speak with your doctor. In addition to the heartburn you feel - you may also be suffering from the one you don't like me.
