Took advantage of the light east wind and some sick leave and gave it a go Monday morning. Left the dock around 430 and headed SE out of FI. Some dolphin and seas turtles on our way out in about 160'. I set up on the Virginia and trolled south towards baccardi. 73-74 water Temps, nice conditions. Some life north of the Virginia, everything south was devoid of it. Ran to Baccardi with about 5 others and trolled there for about 2hrs, nada. One guy had a fish on for a bit before loosing it. We gave up and ran to the wx buoy for some mahi which was fun on light spinning tackle. From there hit up one of the wrecks on the way in for some seabass. Back at the dock by 4. Seen the reports of larger bluefin by Debs in shallow water. The tuna must have moved a bit since the reports of fish by the Baccardi and TX tower. Nice day on the water.
