Two Missing on Canoe near Makamah Beach

I just heard from a friend who told me there are a lot of rescue resources being used right now trying to find 2 people on a canoe. I know it's a longshot

Where is that George?
I've never heard of it.
I hope it turns out OK for them?

I thought I wrote that - It's at Makamah Beach which is near Crab Mradow.

I just got the sad word that they both perished. They were found with life jackets on and most likely succumbed to the cold LI Sound waters. I'll pass along anything else I hear.

Please think before you respond as in many cases family members read them. My condolences to the families and friends affected by this tragedy.

Roberto Guevarra 36 and Roberto Murillo 60 were reported missing at approximately 9:20 p.m. Tuesday after they failed to return from a fishing trip in the Long Island Sound.

Their bodies were found near Eatons Neck.
