So, I fished Saturday from the beach. Plan was to throw a clam out, sit down and read the paper and just hang out on the beach with my wife. But, not much luck sitting down. Had one hit/miss/fish after another for a couple of hours, stopped fishing when the quart of salted clams I picked up at Causeway were gone.
Went solo on the boat sunday morning, fished the outgoing tide off a marsh bank with chum and bellies. Great action once the dropping tide started moving. Finished with about a dozen fish. Unfortunately, the largest was 26"s.
Great to get the hell out of the house.
