Ward Melville 2024

There were some big deals out there. Had some beautiful Palmarius rods for $200. Ran into few friends one picked up a beautiful OMD spinner for $209 thats a $300+ rod. Another had a real nice Phenix for $220 thats a $300 rod to name a few.
 
It was great seeing all the familiar faces at the show yesterday the A-team legacy is live and well 😎

First things first....The show was excellent. More on that later.

I have to agree and would like to follow up on the post above. I got there 7:28. The gates was closed and the First guard waved me to the next lot. When I got there the second guard told me it was “vendors only” and to go back to the usual gate we enter and it would be opened at 7:30. Since it was 7:29, I went back to wait. The First guard now tells me that lot is for “employees only”. So I parked up the road. They opened the gates at around 8 AM.

As Flukinit mentioned, changing the way you allow parking caused a real mess and frustration and made parking and the roads a mess.

To whomever runs this, please go back to the old way. Get security to open the gate by 7 (preferable) or 7:30 at the latest. Not sure why this change was made.
 
As I mentioned above the show was excellent. I went to 3 seminars. I really enjoyed John Skinner’s seminar. His videos really drive home the points he makes.

I spent more money than intended. But that happens every year.

I regret missing this one. I recall parking in the lot against the fence and maybe a dozen cars west of the building last year. Maybe 7:45? Guys were already lined up to get in right in front of my truck. I didn’t get out until the drizzle stopped that day and the line had lessened considerably, lol. But i have been without two teeth since just before our October cruise and was not waiting any longer.

It will be my first year using them so I will let you know. I took them off the 3 & 4. My thought was we are fighting fluke, not long battling fish! Although I will jig iron on the 4 on wrecks. Time will tell.

When I bought the 3 & 4 , the 0 cork was thrown in.

Mine has the Tranx 150 on it.
