Looking forward to the show. I have a question. Does anyone know what time will they open the gates and let people into the parking lot? I come early to get a close spot. I usually buy stuff that having a close spot allows me to go to my car, drop off the stuff and go back to buy more

Oh yes. I think I went by jamesa ( my names reversed) on NE. I have pestered George and others about Capt Matt’s true ID but no one will tell. I had returned to the briny after an 8 year hiatus (sold our first boat after second son born and just fished sweetwater until 96 or so) and the advice and guidance I got on NE was invaluable.

The show was awesome! Was great to catch up with a lot of Noreast crew I have not seen in a long time. Wow I cannot believe how many vendors were there, it was packed. It was crazy to think I was one of the first anglers to do a seminar there many years ago. There were some vendors I know were there that I was looking for but I could not find them, I wish there would have been a directory that you could look up where you wanted to go and it would have the wing and booth #. Also, I am sorry I did not see Capt. Neil, I know he was there I just could not find him.

I got some nice hand tied skinny water bucktails that I have been way over due getting, all my bucktails I have left don't have anything left on them but the weight. There was also a few jewelry booths that I got two nautical pieces from, not that the gents are interesting in that lol.

I'm going to try and head back tomorrow, I feel like there is so much I missed because I couldn't find them.

Looks like I won't make it this year and did want to see what new Gulp! was out there. Thanks to some luck over the years "obtaining" my own bucktails, and guidance from Leprechaun regarding ordering silicone strips off ebay, I am good with what I do now.
