would ya believe I never visited Washington DC… Wife and Me looking to stay a few days late July, any tips please… cellie…

It's all good.

Visited something like 20 years ago during Cherry Blossom Time.

Leave your car at the hotel. Driving sucks.

They have trams. For like $20 a day they take you to all of the stuff you're gonna want to see. When you finish at one attraction there's usually another tram coming by every 10 minutes or so to take you to another one.

Go back at night to see the memorials. Korean War one will freak you out. Looks like the figures are moving & are VERY lifelike.

Every American should visit.

Humid and hotter than hell, stay indoors. It’s a heat sump but otherwise very interesting. Don’t miss Big Boy; impressive.
