anyone else gonna watch this tonight? 3 part mini-series on the History Channel (@ 8) - looks interesting

I DVR'd it since Outlander and the NCISs were on last night, along with Outsider and Homeland ! Wish they would spread these shows out LOL ! will set the DVR again now.

learned something new last night watching - well several things actually

"George Washington's forays into the Ohio country shaped his career and sparked a global war. ... His subsequent surrender to French forces at the Battle of Fort Necessity helped to spark the French and Indian War, which was part of the imperial conflict between Great Britain and France known as the Seven Years' War. "

I did not know that.

lots of new stuff & some old stuff from a different perspective........

finishes up tonight - it's been excellent so far

Also looks like there is a few of these coming "down the pike".................

Slated to air this fall on the History Channel, the miniseries, which has a working title of Grant, will consist of three, two-hour episodes based on the 2017 biography of the same name by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Ron Chernow.

Shortly after it was released, the rights to Chernow’s biography about Grant were purchased by Appian Way, the production company of megastar and Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio in cooperation with Steven Spielberg’s Lionsgate. Last May, it was announced that Appian Way and Lionsgate would also do a companion docu-series in association with the New York-based production studio RadicalMedia
