Actually got out on Saturday to WE2 thought I’d fish my way to the inlet and try for some Triggers. Only caught 2 cocktails on the wall to the jetty took 3 casts and caught an 8 inch fluke on gulp. Switched to trigger fishing dropped the line 3 times then the thunderstorm rolled down the beach from Long Beach to Lido. Had the long hard walk back to the car in the soft sand. I’m not messing with lightening
Sunday met my bro at Green Island. Set up on the east side in the AM. Lots of pecks then finally pulled up a couple really short black sea bass. 1 16 inch fluke and then I hooked into the cow nosed ray. Landed the 25-30 lb fish on 10 lb power pro and a 20 lb leader
