Weakfish are in.

Fished J Bay today in search of fluke no luck switched over to weakfish and had 20 to 17” on gulp sand worms. Monday was out fishing the flats and there was a school of dolphins working off the beach for about an hour was a sight. Tried downloading a video couldn’t.

@danboy I am the recreational advisory on the weakfish board. Can you tell me the average size fish you were seeing? And congrats on a great day!

They were from 10” to 17”. But last Friday my grandson dropped one 4lbs plus while fishing for porgy’s didn’t expect it.

Thanks. We're seeing these same year classes along the Northeast coast. Could be a good sign.
