I have been smelling smoke for a week but figured it was from all the rich people further south (waterfront) who didn't get to spend $ in Europe and bought fire pits, shotguns, yachts they can't control, etc.

fluke season and my kayaking days and pool swimming soon coming to a close... will surfcast a bit in October just for exercise and then start after Bambi's grandfather.

The smoke from the West Coast has invaded us too, but the smoke on the water is 37°F air hitting 57°F water...
